Client Testimonials
"I was floundering in my eighth year of doctoral work with a flimsy topic and no real proposal. Having completed my classwork, I felt alone and abandoned by the University, and was not making any real progress. As a father of two working full time, there was always a reason not to work on my research. I knew, however, that I had to get serious to complete my Dissertation within the mandated ten year timeframe, but did not know really where or how to start. Worse, I was beginning to doubt myself and my abilities to complete the research. It was then that I fortunately stumbled upon Excel With Ease Coaching.Com and Dr. Rachna Jain. In weekly coaching sessions, Dr. Jain put my seemingly insurmountable task in perspective. Within nine months of contacting Dr. Jain my proposal was accepted, and my Dissertation was unanimously approved without revision within 10 months of my proposal review. Thank you, Dr. Jain, for showing me the way to reach my goal here."
-- Bruce L. Myers, Ph.D.

"Thank you again for the extremely valuable few months of coaching.  In such a short time my life has changed dramatically and my outlook has never been more positive.  Like therapy, coaching is therapeutic, however, it is much more action-oriented and it taught me to take responsibility for my happiness.  I feel like I made more progress in the time I worked with you than several years of therapy.

You are extremely perceptive and able to quickly get right to the core of things.  In each session I learned valuable techniques that were geared towards my thought process and goals and enabled me to better achieve those goals.  You are direct and could pinpoint what in my thinking held me back.  You have a talent of confronting a person directly without making them self-conscious or hurting their feelings - it's just the truth.  For someone who can be overly sensitive, I was never offended in the least.  Perhaps it is because you made it clear that my destiny was in my own hands and the only thing that could get in the way was negative thinking and doubt.  Your encouragement and insight made me want to know what about me hinders my progress and make changes to alter those things.

Coaching gave me confidence and strength.  You gave me sensible and unprejudiced advice.  You gave me emotional support but from a rational place.  You are very honest and that honesty gave me surety in my decision-making process.

I know you will continue to be very successful in helping people make the most of their lives."
-- Suzanne Garrison

"But thank you Rachna, I very clearly remember our teleclass, and how incredibly supportive you were, and how underlying it all there was always a sense that we must be tender and kind to ourselves, that we must support ourselves, and reward ourselves for hard work, and be gentle, always gentle -- that got me through, it really did!! You had an ENORMOUS influence on my ability to finish, and now I preach that line to every ABD I meet!

Thank you!"
-- Linda (aka Dr. Linda Derksen, phinally)

"The best thing I ever did for myself was to hire you as my life coach...  The changes are amazing. My life feels like it's getting cleaner, simpler and happier and it's not as heavy and overwhelming anymore. For the first time in a really long time I can honestly say I'm feeling more relaxed and happier on the inside."
-- Jill Garaffa, Occupational Therapist

"Through our coaching, I have learned to take a look at how my thoughts influence my success.  You make coaching enjoyable and a great learning experience.  Your sense of humor, patience, gentleness, and constant sense of support make me look forward to our time together.  Your ability to identify the heart of the issue quickly and perceptively has really helped me to move ahead in my life and my career."
-- Lynne Klippel, Personal & Career Coach

"As a coach, you are gentle and compassionate, yet goal-focused; balance respect and empathy with lightness and humor; are lightning quick with resourceful strategies, but appropriately patient when necessary; draw on a whole host of eclectic approaches but have a dependable, consistent style; able to follow my lead while also expertly setting the tone to create forward momentum and achieve success...  extremely effective, so proficient in the art and science of coaching, that I highly recommend you..."
-- S.P.

"Before I started working with you, I knew I wanted to be a coach. I had developed an identity as a psychologist, but wanted to expand my practice into coaching. However, I felt unfocused, lost and confused about how to actually make it happen as the differences between running a therapy practice and a coaching practice quickly emerged. Working with you has helped me develop a direction for my coaching practice, providing me with concrete actions and suggestions that have accelerated the growth of my business. Perhaps most importantly, though, you helped me transform my professional identity from that of an experienced therapist to that of a skilled Coach!"
-- Anita Marchesani, Ph.D., Life Coach

"We began dissertation coaching together on July 25, 2001. I defended my paper on June 19, 2002. You were right - I "got it done" in less than a year. I couldn't have done it without you. I have already recommended you to my friends. Thanks, again."
-- Michael Thurston, Ph.D.

"Thanks for writing "Get it Done!" I found the book to be extremely helpful in moving me from dissertation desperation to hope in actually completing this project. The tips you offer are all timely and relevant...I expect the book to be quite tattered by the time I'm finished... In a small package, you have made a huge difference in my work! Thank you!"
-- David York, ABD, University of Missouri

"I wanted to coach with you after hearing a presentation you gave on well-being through job loss. Under your guidance, and with your support, I went from being laid off and stressed out to creating a really great new job-- one where my boss appreciates me, I make more money, and have time to have a life. Thanks for helping me learn how to work myself happy. My life is completely changed."
-- Joan Small,  Human Resource Director

My experience with Dr. Rachna Jain as my dissertation coach was FANTASTIC!!  Coaching with Rachna allowed me to graduate quickly, and begin earning a better salary.  Her coaching fee was well worth it!!  I chose coaching because I was concerned about how full time employment, family obligations, moving away from my university, and isolation from my department could slow down my dissertation progress.  During my time with Rachna, my department program was axed by the dean, and my chair lost her tenure.  I was blessed to have Rachna as a coach and I finished in spite of all the department adversity!  I've recommended Dr. Rachna Jain to all my friends and colleagues!
