December 2002

Dear Reader,

As we wind down another year and move further into the
holiday season, I want to take a minute to thank you for
being part of our growing community. I enjoy writing these
newsletters each month and look forward to your ongoing
participation into the next year and beyond.

This month's feature article deals with some "New Year's
Resolutions" you might want to try on. I hope you enjoy it.

I wish you and yours a very joyful and blessed holiday
season.

See you again in 2003,
Rachna

10 Tips to Excel with Ease in 2003

*Choose to play to your strengths
Why focus on your weaknesses? Your strengths will help you move further, faster, and they are much more fun. Share from your strengths and you'll benefit yourself & those around you.

*Choose an attitude of gratitude
If you are grateful for all the good things in your life, and express this often, you will, naturally and easily attract
more of these good things. Take some time this month to acknowledge and appreciate the abundance that exists in your life.

*Choose to enjoy the journey
Although it is wonderful to have goals and plan for achieving them, too often, we are really busy rushing to get there that we put off enjoying the now. Your life is now- live it.

*Choose happiness first
When you don't know what to do, always go back to your center.  Ask yourself, "What would make me happy?" and then, "What can I do to get closer to this ideal?". Take an action, no matter how small that moves you closer to your happiness.

*Choose to clean up your life
We drain our life-force - energy- when we have too many postponed decisions, too much stuff, too many loose ends in important relationships. Commit to cleaning up your life- your personal energy and enthusiasm will skyrocket.

*Choose to learn something new
Dare to shift out of your routine. Try something new- allow
yourself to grow and change. This will broaden your perspective and can help you make better decisions. Plus, it's fun.

*Choose to accept help
Allow yourself to show your "not so capable" side- you can
strengthen your important relationships when you allow yourself to accept help & support.

*Choose to connect with others
Open yourself up to a new relationship- whether this is a
friend, lover, pet, or any other living thing. By seeking connection, we acknowledge our interdependence.

*Choose to go for the easy way
Every where you can, find the easy way to accomplish your
goals. Just because something is difficult doesn't mean it's more meaningful. Life can flow, if you let it.

*Choose to respect yourself
Acknowledge yourself for all your strengths and talents-
for your sense of humor, deep caring, love for family and friends, your sharp wit, or thoughtful intellect. Anything and everything.

In all these choices, you will create a fulfilling and abundant year ahead. Happy Holidays, and good choosing!
