Dear Reader,

I wanted to thank all of you who contacted me

due to my recent mentions in Selling Power, Vows

Magazine, Business Advisor, Sound & Video

Contractor, Woman's World and a few others I

can't think of right now. I grinned at those of you

who wrote me and wondered whether I was the

same person mentioned in these magazines. Yep!

In the spirit of this month's issue, which focuses

on upgrading your life, I'd like to share the idea

that upgrading one part of your life can increase

motivation and help you raise your standards in all

areas of your life.

If you have some parts of your life that could use

a bit of upgrading and improvement, I invite you

to start now.

Upgrade Your Life

This month, my focus has been on upgrading my life.

The time between last month’s newsletter and this one

has completely flown by partly because I've been

really busy spring cleaning before spring is even

officially here. It's nice to be cleaning out and

clearing out books, papers, clothes and other items

that I don't feel that I need. All this cleaning

has left much more room and space which has been

soothing.

We hear a lot about spring cleaning and this month

I'd like to invite you to try out spring cleaning

with a twist. This twist relates to cleaning out

and upgrading all at the same time. What this

means, is that not only will you get rid of all of

the old things you no longer want, at the same time

you will upgrade the parts of your life that you

actually still want.

Let me give you an example: Deborah, one of my

clients, had recently lost a significant amount

of weight. Part of her upgrading plan was the

following: not only did she get rid of all her

"fat" clothes, she also installed a new closet

organizer system so that she could better find

all of the new clothes, shoes, and other

accessories she planned to buy.

In the time between the "clean out" and the new

purchases Deborah was able to enjoy an upgraded

closet which was both neat and functional. In

fact, she enjoyed her new closet so much that she

couldn't wait to use all of the new drawers, rods

and hooks to proudly display her new wardrobe. In

this way Deborah not only cleaned out the old but

she also upgraded the new.

A side effect of her new closet organization was

that she also upgraded her style and purchased

gorgeously beautiful new clothes. In fact, she

told me that if it hadn't been for such a beautiful

new closet she probably would not have spent so

much on new clothes. Now, I'm not advocating any

kind of financial irresponsibility, instead, what

I'm suggesting is that an upgrade in some part of

your life can lead to a ripple effect of upgrades

on other parts of your life.

This month, what I'd like to invite you to do is

spend some time cleaning out your life and upgrading

at the same time. In doing so you'll take your life

to a much higher standard and will find it easier to

create exactly the life you really do want.
